PUBLISHER SETTLEMENT
For any successful sale, the publisher will receive the settlement amount in 30 – 45 days. If somehow the order will not be delivered then the publisher has to take responsibility for one side of shipping in terms of cost. For any successful sale, the settlement amount would approximately 40% to 60% as of M.R.P. And in some cases, such as “Old Titles / Books” the settlement amount would be approx. 30% as per the discussion with Publisher.
NET SETTLEMENT: BOOK PUBLISHER
Book Publishers / Third Part Sellers will receive the amount as per the above durations. Apart from other platforms, we have simplified the payment deductions and placements. Here are the charges that are deducted from the amount i.e., received by the buyer. Charges are as follows: Commission i.e., 7% of Total product charges, Other (1), Shipping Charge, Fixed Closing Fees i.e., 5.18% of T.P.C & Shipping Holdback i.e., 3.33% of T.P.C.. Total final amount that is received by the Book Publishers / Third Part Sellers is as follows: T.P.C + Other (Taking the amount from buyer as for shipping) – Commission – Shipping Charge – Fixed Closing Fees – Shipping Holdback. Final amount is 2-5 RS. different from above settlement this is due to dimensional measurement.
What is Total Product Charges ?
Total product charges is the selling price excluding shipping charge i.e., Other (1).
